Picture of Susie Tutor Susie Tutor says:
"The mouse is a lot friendlier if its speed is right for you!"

MOUSE SETTINGS: Making them right for you.
  1. Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel
  2. When the Control Panel window appears, select Mouse.
  3. The Mouse Properties window appears. There are 3 tabs:
Under the Buttons tab, you can reverse the buttons on the mouse & adjust your clicking speed.

On the Pointers tab, you can click on the drop down arrow next to Scheme. Choose a mouse cursor, maybe one that's bigger if you're having trouble seeing the cursor.

Under the Motions tab, you can adjust the clicking speed of the mouse.

Picture of the volume control icon The VOLUME CONTROL for your computer can be adjusted by clicking the speaker icon (look for it on the far right side of the Start taskbar). Use slider bar to adjust. However, your computer must have a sound card & speakers for you to hear sound.
